An earthquake measuring 3.3 on the richter scale JUST hit the Portland/Metro area. It hit at 1:39:18AM PST and was easily felt and woke people up from a dead sleep including myself. It occured at a depth of 7.3 miles beneath the ground. The exact duration of the quake is not yet known, but it felt like it was between ten and fifteen seconds.
